Global Village Program
International Brigades

Global VillageHave a unique and intercultural experience in Paraguay and return home with not only a souvenir, a photo, but with a great story ...

The Global Village is a journey - a mission group of people who form a brigade. It has a short stay, approximately 2 weeks and is designed so that all members of the brigade have a spiritual and educational experience within a transcultural scope.

Living in a community and working together, the teams have the opportunity to witness the efforts being undertaken by Habitat for Humanity in Paraguay to eliminate inadequate housing that affects many families in the country.

Global VillageThese teams performed various activities during their stay, but mainly working with families in housing construction.  They share several days of cultural exchange, expand their global awareness and build bridges of understanding and friendship.

The Paraguayans are recognized worldwide for their hospitality and attitude to discover and share with people from all over the world.

Working with families and local volunteers, members of the brigades are working on building a "global village" of love, families, communities  and above all, hope!
