Team leader communication

First step
Once your team has been accepted you will have your GV number and will receive our welcome e-mail with first information. With that we hope to answer many of the first questions about the coming month of organizing your trip. All remaining questions you may have we are happy to answer via e-mail or phone.

Coordinator
Claudia Cabellero is the coordinator of the Global Village program and team and is in charge of your team´s arrangements. She will help to confirm dates, schedules and your team, choose an affiliate placement and give advice on your R&R.

Affiliates
To choose the right affiliate for a team is a long process that involves communication with lots of people. Often we don´t have every information till short before the team arrives. As soon as we know we will inform the team leader and the group about the family. If you have a request for a special area to work in, we try to comply with your needs.

Contacts via e-mail
The next few months we are working out the logistics of your trip and provide you with the necessary information. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us any time with any questions you have. Team members should communicate through the team leader.

As we work in a team, please make sure you always “REPLY TO ALL” when responding to e-mails.
 

Translations
If the leader needs a translator the cost is about $10/hour. It will paid by the team for their services as well as for  also room and board wich are not included in the budget. The team leader will determine if it is necessary a translator (not just a Spanish speaker) with the team in order to budget it accordingly. Habitat Paraguay  needs to know in advance about the decision to contract translators.

R&R
Itineraries do not include R&R and it only includes local cultural activities within the community where the group is staying and it may need or may not need transport component. If the team would like to do something extra and it is not included in the present budget we would be glad to arrange it. However,  the related costs will be paid by the team.
