Trips to Paraguay this year
Built dreams
- In March a canadian group of 14 people spent 2 weeks working on a new house for a family that moved from the chaco to Asunción to have better conditions for their three sons.
- In May the next canadian group spent 1 week in Paraguay. 7 volunteers help building a new house for a family in Luque, a quarter of Asunción.
- Also in May a special group from the US travelled to Paraguay. Five teenagers of the group were adopted children from Paraguay who wanted to get to know their roots, culture and people of Paraguay and to give back to their home country.
- In June a group of twelve from the US started a new house for a family in Capiatá, a quarter of Asunción. They laid the foundation for the dream of that little and growing family.
- Two weeks later in July the next group continued with the house in Capiatá. 12 volunteers from Canada helped the masons to build the house up to the roof and created a beautiful backyard.
- Our next group in August was lead by a well known team leader. For his fifth trip to Paraguay he came with 16 motivated volunteers from the US.
- In September our biggest group for this year visited Paraguay. 21 pupils and their chaperones of Colegio Lincoln from Argentina were leaving their homes in Buenos Aires to experience a different live for one week.
- For October we were able to help 4 families with an amazing group of 20 volunteers from the US.
