Before the trip - schedule

6 months prior

We estimate 6 month to organize a Global Village trip and open trips will be announced at that time on the Website of Habitat International .

In that period the team leader and the global village team will organize the details of the trip. This schedule will give you an idea of how we organize our trips. Depending on special arrangements of the group or with the team leader they can be adjusted.

6 weeks prior

About 6 weeks before the trip the dates will be fixed. The team members will get the information to book the flights. And the Global Village team will start organize accommodations, transportation and food. That is the moment we need you to work with us. Any preferences on rooms, food requirements or information on medical conditions we need to consider will help to organize a smooth trip.

4 weeks prior

About 4 weeks before the trip the team leader gets information about your accommodations and other helpful adresses and will provide this information to the team. Time for you to take a quick look into our Spanish vocabulary and time to prepare yourself for the days that lay ahead of you.

2 weeks prior

Two weeks before the trip we will send a last reminder to your leader. This information will help to think of everything important and should answer last questions.

Of course your team leader will be helping you if there are any unanswered questions. We always stay in close contact with the team leader in the last weeks before the trip.
